Erk to the Diary Room (Episode 20 - More BB Podcasts)
While I'm here, I've found a couple of new BB related podcasts that I found via iTunes and I briefly mentioned in Episode 19.
The first podcast is called Big Brother Weekly who have been recording an episode after each eviction show. This show comes out of Adelaide and is hosted by Tom and his sisters Lara and Marie. The show basically sums up the whole week of BB action in 30 minutes. As the name suggests, there is one show a week.
The other podcast that I have just found is called Reality Cast which at the moment is focusing on BB but also has been looking at other shows such as Idol and Biggest Loser in previous episodes. So far the two hosts have been releasing about 2 episodes a week. There appears to be one podcast feed regardless of the content of the episode. At the moment it isn't a problem because only BB is on but when Idol comes back, I think the podcast will cover both shows.
In addition as I mentioned in a previous episode, there is the Behind Big Brother Australia (BBBBA) podcasts (mature audiences only!) who have been doing regular podcasts as well as an interweb based BB themed radio show each Saturday night that you can listen to live or hear highlights from on a podcast. In addition to the radio show highlights (the first lot of highlights lasted for an hour), there are usually a couple of episodes a week at this stage.
And finally there is former HM Tim Brunero's podcast Oh Brother which has chats with current and former HM's as well as BB opinion from someone who has been there and done that. Tim usually speaks to the evicted HM soon after they are evicted so if you don't listen to the Nova or Austereo networks (or get their podcasts), here is a good place to hear an interview with the evictee.
